How to maintain the High-Pressure Cleaning Machine?

1. Routine maintenance - after each operation

1. Flush the hose and filter connected to the detergent to remove residual detergent to prevent corrosion.

2. Turn off the water supply system of the high-pressure washer.

3. Pull the trigger on the servo gun stem to release all pressure in the hose.

4. Remove the rubber hose and high-pressure hose from the pressure washer.

5. Cut off the connection wire of the spark plug to ensure that the engine will not start (applicable to the engine model).

Electric:

Turn the power switch to the "on" and "off" positions four to five times for 1-3 seconds to clear the pump of water. This step will help protect the pump from damage.

Type of engine:
Slowly pull the engine starter rope 5 times to clear the water from the pump. This step will help protect the pump from damage.

Second, regular maintenance - maintenance once every 2 months

1. Regularly remove fuel deposits from the fuel tank to prolong the service life and performance of the engine. Fuel deposits can damage fuel lines, fuel filters,  and carburetors.

2. Protect your pressure washer with the Karcher pump protection kit (9.558-998.0) when the pressure washer is not in use. Pump suits are specifically designed to protect the pressure washer from corrosion, premature wear, freezing, etc., and to lubricate the valves and seals to prevent them from getting stuck.

Electric:

1. Turn off the pressure washer.

2. Disconnect the high-pressure hose and servo stem from the pump.

3. Connect the valve to the pump protection tank and open the valve.

4. Turn on the washing machine; suck all the contents of the tank into the pump.

5. Turn off the washing machine; the high-pressure washing machine can be stored directly.

Type of engine:

1. Turn off the pressure washer.

2. Disconnect the high-pressure hose and servo stem from the pump.

3. Connect the valve to the pump protection tank and open the valve.

4. Light the igniter and pull the start rope; suck all the contents of the tank into the pump.

5. The high-pressure cleaner can be stored directly.
